VFW Post 5106 and its Ladies Auxillary will be having their annual Christmas Dinner at The Garden (across from Wal - Mart). The meeting will start at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 and all members are urged to attend. Oh! by the way this is a dutch treat.

Black and White Formal Ball

The Goshen Masonic Lodge 530 and Lily of the Valley OES 442 are sponsoring a Black and White Formal Ball on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31 starting at 9:00 p.m. at Wilcox Central High School in Camden. If you have someone on your list who is hard to buy for, you might want to consider a Thomasville afghan for this year’s Christmas gift. Every Thomasville native is sure to want one of these beautiful, cranberry and ecru-colored creations. They feature historic buildings including the old Thomasville High School, present City Hall, the V.C. Wilkinson Building (old City Hall), and the old Depot building. The afghans are $ 50, and they can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce office on Wilson Avenue next to the Water Department. The sale is a fundraiser for the Thomasville Civic Center Foundation.

An Afternoon of Chamber Music
