Pineview Baptist Church has a team in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life coming up here in Thomasville on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30. The team has held several fundraisers to raise funds for the fight against cancer. One project is a “Tribute Wall” outside the church sanctuary that features the photos of those who have battled the disease—many of them church members. Above is the section of the wall in memory of those who died because of this disease. Anyone wishing to add a loved one’s photo to the Tribute Wall may call team members Nina Kennedy (334-636-1248) or Bonnie Parten (334-636-4017) and do so for a $5 or more donation.
