Gospel Music Benefit is

April 22

A Gospel Music Benefit Concert will be held Saturday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Thomasville High School Cafeteria featuring The Revelators, The Centurions (Then and Now) and The Dixie Disciples.

A concession stand will be open at 5:30 p.m. until serving hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade goodies and drinks. So show up early for supper.

All proceeds from the concert donations and concession stand will benefit Relay for Life. Sponsored jointly by the Lewis Pest Control and the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Relay for Life teams.

Williams Temple CME Church Anniversary is April 23

Everyone is invited to worship with the Williams Temple CME Church family in grateful celebration of our 116th Year Church Anniversary on Sunday, April 23 at 3 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Eddie Marzett accompanied by the Hopewell CME Church family of Monroeville.

Midway Baptist holds homecoming celebration

Homecoming Celebration and Revival starting at Midway Baptist Church

Homecoming Celebration begins with Sunday School at 10 a.m., Worship Service at 11 a.m., followed by "Dinner-on-the-Ground" and visiting under the cover of the Pavilion and Fellowship Hall.

Sunday, April 23 Revival service starts at 6:30 p. m.: Monday through Wednesday, April 24-26 Revival services start at 7 p.m. Guest speaker at Homecoming and Revival services will be Dr. Paul Kendrick.

Midway Baptist Church is located three miles west of Thomasville via Tallahatta Springs Road to Midway Road turn-off. Midway's pastor, Rev. Rex Jackson, invites everyone to attend and enjoy the services and fellowship.

Henley Cemetery Decoration is April 23

Henley Cemetery in Fulton will hold its annual decorations on Sunday, April 23 beginning at 2 p.m.

Kelly Cemetery holds Memorial Day April 23

Memorial Day will be held at Kelly Cemetery, located in Wilcox County near Pine Hill, on Sunday, April 23.

Spring clean off will take place on Thursday, April 20. In case of rain, clean off will be held on April 21. If you cannot help on the designated date, do so at your convenience.

Family and Friends Day Celebration is April 23

Family and Friends Day Celebration at the Star Bethel P.B. Church in Sweet Water is Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m.

Elder Jimmy Allen, from Thomasville Church of God in Christ, will be the guest speaker. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited to attend.

Spencer Chapel A.M.E. holds Annual Women's Day

The pastor and Spencer Chapel A.M.E. church family of Fulton invites everyone to attend the celebration of their Annual Women's Day. An event of April 23 at 11:30 a.m.

The guest speaker will be Mrs. Dorothy Cooley of Mobile. A special invitation to women in the educational field retired or active.

Time of Perfection International Ministry holds singing

There will be a gospel singing April 23 at Time of Perfection International Ministry on Spinks Dr. in Thomasville at 4 p.m.

Featured singers will be The Voices in Harmony of Fulton; Blessed Voices of Jackson; and The Sensational Harmonizers of Sweet Water. Everyone is invited to attend.

T'ville Church of God in Christ to hold revival

The Thomasville Church of God in Christ, will begin Revival April 24 through April 28.

Services will start at 7 p.m. Elder James Lee of Conway, S.C. will be the Evangelist for the week. Everyone is invited to attend.

Revival starts May 4 at St. Paul Pentecostal Church in Jackson

Revival at St. Paul Pentecostal Church, 1176 Woodlawn Road, Jackson, Hwy. 69 N. (Coffeeville Rd.) will start Friday, May 4 at 7 p.m. Evangelist David Hicks

Cleveland, Tenn. will be the guest speaker. Everyone is invited to attend.

Clean-up week at Independence Cemetery

Clean-up week is planned for May 8-12 at Independence Cemetery to prepare for Homecoming and Decoration Services for Sunday, May 14. Special clean-up day is Thursday, May 11.
