Skateboarding Day
Zack Day (above) jumps his skateboard in downtown Thomasville Wednesday morning. Day participated in organizing a skateboarding event as part of National Go Skateboarding Day. Skateboarders in Thomasville usually have a tough rap. They're not allowed on sidewalks, though some try, until they're shooed away by the police. But on Wednesday, the two sides had a truce as the parking lot in downtown Thomasville was blocked off for skateboarders to gather and do their thing.
