Residents getting ready for holiday
By JoAnn Smyly
Thomasville Nursing Home News

We grumble when it's raining, and when it is too hot,

And oft times heard complaining, how very hard our lot.

Hey! Did you get a good look at the moon, was not it the brightest and look to be lower in the sky. To bad we do not live by the beach where it would have been out of sight to see.

We would like to thank the Central Baptist Church for our birthday party this month. Everyone had a great time. The residents had a great time painting pumpkins this week. We have some very talented residents here. They held up their pumpkins for all to see.

We would like to thank Tiny Drinkard for singing for us on Friday, the residents enjoy him stopping by.

We are getting ready for trick or treaters coming, we look forward to them every year. We have a little surprise for them this year, for the ones that come in the morning.

Our cooking group had a wonderful time this week planning their menu and then cooking the food, and it was good.

Remember about the quilt we have on display in the hall out by the nurses station. Please stop by and buy a ticket. It is all hand made by one of our residents, Delmorie Wilson, and quilted by Remona Kelley. It will make a nice gift or keep for yourself.
