Thomas celebrated birthday Oct. 1

Louis Thomas, better known as "Mama Red" celebrated her 88th birthday on Sunday, October 1 with a birthday party given by her four children and their spouses.

Many family members, friends and neighbors attended. It was at the home of Cheryl and Ted Morgan and Joyce and Jim Reeves. Everyone enjoyed birthday cake, chocolate pound cake, cheese straws, ice cream and soft drinks.

"Mama Red" received many cards and gifts and everyone had a pleasant Sunday afternoon of fellowship. "Mama Red" was returned to Thomasville Nursing Home where she resides.
