SWAIA to meet Oct. 17 in Jackson

The Southwest Alabama Improvement Association, known as SWAIA, will hold a public meeting Tuesday, Oct. 17 p.m. at Jackson Steak House. The guest speaker will be Thedford A. Rowser-Bey.

SWAIA is a non-profit organization committed to promoting community unity/impowerment and improving the quality of life for individuals in Southwest Alabama from a wholistic perspective; mentally, physically, spiritually and economically.

SWAIA encompasses the Southwest Alabama Counties of Clarke, Washington, Choctaw, Marengo, Wilcox, Monroe, Conecuh, Escambia, Butler, Baldwin and Mobile.
