Revival is Oct. 13 at Sunflower AOH Church of God

Sunflower AOH Church of God on McFadden Street in Thomasville will hold revival services Monday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. Elder Bobby Harmon of Carlton AOH Church will be the guest speaker.

County Line Baptist to hold Southern Gospel Jubilee

The First Annual County Line Southern Gospel Jubilee is Saturday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at County Line Baptist Church, located at the corner of Wilcox County Road 32 and County Road 55 in Arlington. The Jubilee will feature Southern Gospel Music by many talented local groups, church choirs and individuals. Hosted by Mitzi Gates. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Snacks and colas will be served all day.

Gospel Extravaganza canceled

The Gospel Extravaganza scheduled to be held at Williams Temple C.M.E. Church in Thomasville on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. has been canceled until a later date.

Creels Chapel UMC to host 2nd Mile

2nd Mile will be in concert at Creels Chapel UMC on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. There will be some local talent also.

Mott - Brown Reunion planned

Mott and Brown Reunion will be held Saturday, Oct. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Hwy. 154 near Chilton. Bring a covered dish and lawn chair.

CPBC holds Women and Men's Day

Cedar Point Baptist Church, Hwy. 31 West Bend Community of Coffeeville, will have their Women and Men's Day Program, on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m. Speaker for the women will be Sis. Janice Cox of Cedar Point Baptist Church. Speaker for the men will be Rev. Hurley James and his congregation of the St. Paul Baptist Church of Salipta.

Pleasant Grove Homecoming planned for Oct. 15

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, located at 9025 Winn Road will have its fall homecoming Sunday, Oct. 15. There will be a singing in the afternoon featuring L. C. James and Conventional Singers. Bro. John Gillis will be the morning speaker. Bring a covered dish.

Okalona MPC to hold

homecoming/revival

Okalona Methodist Protestant Church, located north of Grove Hill on Swimming Pool Road, will host their annual homecoming and revival services beginning Sunday, Oct. 15 through Wednesday, Oct. 18. Homeco-ming services will begin with a singing featuring "Crimson City" at 10 a.m. and preaching at 11 a.m. with lunch following.

There will also be an afternoon singing featuring "Crimson City." Revival services will begin Monday, Oct. 16 and ending Wednesday, Oct. 18 with services beginning at 7 p.m. Guest speaker for the homecoming and revival services will be Rev. Wayne Hunt from Meridian, Miss.

T'ville Church of Christ to hold Weekend Gospel Singing

The Thomasville Church of Christ, located at the corner of West 3rd and Worl, will have a Weekend Gospel Meeting Oct. 21 and 22. Services Saturday night will be at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. for Bible Study, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. for worship services.
