F.S. Ervin to hold parade Oct. 21
     On Saturday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. F. S. Ervin Elementary School will hold their annual homecoming parade around the Pine Hill Square. F. S. Ervin is planning a gala affair with floats, horses, motor cycle clubs, community groups and several marching bands.

Instructor from China speaks at F. S. Ervin
     F. S. Ervin's 5th and 6th grades welcomed a special speaker, Mr. Qing Zu of the Peoples Republic of China and an instructor at the University of Alabama. He spoke to the classes about his home country and taught the students to say phrases in Mandarin.
