Honoring a fallen father

Mayor Sheldon Day presents Hadley "Tommy" Tyson with a memorial to his late father Thomas Tyson Jr. who was killed in a vehicle accident while on patrol for the Thomasville Police Department in May 1970. Tyson is the only police officer in Thomasville to lose his life while on duty.
