Make sure you have your say on Nov. 7

The Nov. 7 general election is now just over a week away. Prepare for plenty more mud slinging from the bigger races as things come down the stretch.

We hope our local candidates will keep their races cleaner and not follow the example of other races around the state this year.

For those of you who have not made up your minds about who you will vote for, there's still time.

Find out what you can about the candidates before you decide to cast your vote. Carefully weigh your options and make your decision.

Perhaps most importantly, make the decision to go vote.

Many people offer to work the polling places around this area every election because they believe in the electoral system.

They work hard to do the job right and streamline the process so you can get in and out quickly.

This nation was founded by the belief that the people should have a say in the affairs of government. Make sure you have your say on Nov. 7.
