Pine Hill holds Fall Fest Day

On October 15 The Brookwood Baptist Church of Birmingham arrived in Pine Hill at the Peach Tree Apartments and was greeted by Edith Ruffin, a member of the Pine Hill Mission. Brenda G. Blount, the Peach Tree Manager and The Pine Hill Mission Youth Leader Penny Gardner and her youths worked hard on the grounds getting ready for the Fall Fest Day.

Mt. Zion Baptist of Pine Hill youth group performed a praise dance. Coach Moore and his team (The Jaguars) came out for the fest. The game of flag football was played later with the Pine Hill Angels basketball team.

Amy Causey and other members of Brookwood Baptist organized the activities, sponsored the prizes and all the refreshments for the fest. They brought a bus load of clothing and shoes, adults and children enjoyed shopping, everything was free. A large supply of food was donated to the Pine Hill Mission Food Bank, all from Brookwood Baptist.

The Fall Fest Day was a success and the Pine Hill Mission wants to extend a special thanks to The Mt. Zion members, Coach Moore and the Jaguars of Wilcox Central High School, the Brookwood Baptist, the fellowship was just great and thank God for making it all possible.
