SVFD to hold Gospel

Singing

The Surginer Volunteer Fire Department will host a Fall Singing on Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. until.

Featured singers will be South Rock and Marshall Law from T-town; Rosa Grayson, Tiny Drinkard, The Revelators, Mallory Broadus from Thomasville, local talent and many others. Bring your lawn chairs.

Admission is $5 for 12 years of age and over and children under 12 is free. BBQ and chicken tender plates will be for sale. They will include either BBQ or chicken, potato salad, baked beans, bread, cake and tea for only $7 (tea refills .50¢). You can also buy BBQ by the pound for $7. Soft drinks and bottled water will be $1. Coffee will be .50¢.

Cakes will be auctioned off for this holiday weekend. Something for the children: Get ready........get set....."Stuff A Friend."

Everyone is invited to attend and support the SVFD.

New Greater First Baptist to hold Choir Day

The New Greater First Baptist Church invites everyone to their Choir Day Celebration on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2:30 p.m. Pastor C. Dwight Woods and Bearean Baptist Church family of Marion will be the special guest.

Everyone is invited to attend.

First Baptist Church in Fulton to hold homecoming

First Baptist Church, Fulton will be having Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 29. Sunday School will start at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. Dinner on the ground will follow with singing in the afternoon.

Fulton, FBC is located on Hwy. 178, between Thomasville and Grove Hill. For more information call the church office at 334-636-5605. Everyone is invited.

Pine Hill Baptist holds 5th Sunday singing

Pine Hill Baptist Church in Pine Hill will be having a 5th Sunday night singing this Sunday, October 29 at 6 p.m. Special guest in concert will be the southern gospel quartet "Final Answer."

Everyone is invited to attend, and there will be a fellowship immediately following in the fellowship hall.

Bassett Creek Baptist to hold Fall Festival

Bassett Creek Baptist Church will hosting its annual Fall Festival on Sunday, October 29 beginning at 3pm.

There will be slides and bouncers, horse and pony rides, hayrides, cotton candy, and lots more surprises. There will be a hamburger/hot dog supper at 5PM followed by a brief presentation by pastor Chris Kynard and a cakewalk. The evening will conclude with Trunk or Treat as the children go from trunk to trunk filling their bags with candy!

Don't miss a second of the fun. There is no admission charge and EVERYONE is invited!! Bassett Creek Baptist Church is located 3 miles north of Grove Hill off of hwy 43.

First Baptist Church in Fulton plans BBQ Fundraiser

First Baptist Church in Fulton will have a BBQ Fundraiser on Nov. 4, pickup is before 1 p.m. Whole Boston Butts are $25, Boston Butt by the pound is $5. All proceeds will go to the Building Fund. For more information call the church at 334-636-5305.

New Union Missionary Baptist holds anniversary

New Union Missionary Baptist Church located on Hwy. 69 in Coffeeville, will hold their 32nd church anniversary services on Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. Rev. Donald Reed is pastor. The guest speaker will be Rev. James G. Curry.
