'FOOD FOR FINES' TO BENEFIT SALVATION ARMY
The Thomasville Public Library will be sponsoring its annual FOOD FOR FINES drive for the Salvation Army again this year.
The Library will begin taking donations of non-perishable food items on October 30th and continue through November 11th. As in the past, the library will delete $1 in fines for 1 can/box of food. In addition to non-perishable food items the pantry also accepts baby necessities such as diapers, formula, etc.
The library will also be pleased to accept your food donations even if you don't have fines! The Salvation Army's food pantry is very low and we are hoping to help several families for Thanksgiving.
