SVFD to host Fall Singing Saturday The Surginer Volunteer Fire Department will host a Fall Singing on Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. until. Featured singers will be South Rock and Marshall Law from T-town; Rosa Grayson, Tiny Drinkard, The Revelators, Mallory Broadus from Thomasville, local talent and many others. Bring your lawn chairs. Admission is $5 for 12 years of age and over and children under 12 is free. BBQ and chicken tender plates will be for sale. They will include either BBQ or chicken, potato salad, baked beans, bread, cake and tea for only $7 (tea refills .50¢). You can also buy BBQ by the pound for $7. Soft drinks and bottled water will be $1. Coffee will be .50¢. Cakes will be auctioned off for this holiday weekend. Something for the children: Get ready........get set....."Stuff A Friend." Everyone is invited to attend and support the SVFD.
