Drama Club will travel to USA
This year at Trumbauer District Competition THS drama is performing Glass by Saul Zachary. Hard work and valuable time have been put into this play to make it one of a kind. The cast is as followed: Ryan Johnson as Edward Charney; Sonya McNair as Karen; Danielle Larrimore as a woman; Julie Dozier as Doctor Gander; and of course the audience as the audience. The behind the set crew should also be recognized for their hard work. They are as followed: crew; assistant stage managers - Cody West and John Thornton; sound - Justin Lenoir; light - Caleb Clardy and Webb Knight; make-up - Alexandria Taylor; costume - Lemaris Pickett; production assistant - Miranda Wells; stage crew - Evey Sanders, Jessica Reid, Anthony Larrimore, Jessie Moss and Hannah Hicks; playbill - Cody West. This play would not be possible without the dedication of director Lisa Newton and assistant director Ward Bedsole. Glass will be presented by THS Drama Team at 7 p.m. on Nov. 2 in the THS cafeteria. THS Drama will be traveling to the Walter Trumbauer District Competition on Nov. 4 at the University of South Alabama. There are many different categories students may sign up for, for example; female/male solo pantomime, duet pantomime, solo acting etc.
Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat It's not a good feeling when you're in class and your stomach is growling at you saying, "Feed Me!" Imagine what it would be like to feel like that all day long. There are 28 million Americans that go hungry each day; 9 million of those are children. TOTS EAT is all about eliminating that starving felling from as many people as possible. In October, THS and TMS will be collecting nonperishable food to donate to this organization. Help in anyway you can. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated. You may drop canned food off at either THS or TMS.
