Thanks for help with this year's Ghost Walk event On behalf of the Arts Council of Thomasville, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who made the 2006 "Ghost Walk" such a success. A special thank you to our "ghost" storytellers: Mrs. Kathryn Tucker Windham, Edmon McKinley, Jack Brewer and Dana Dunn and hayride storytellers: Karen Dean, Pam Taylor, Judy Green, Charlie Anderson, Greg Clardy, Bill Hill and Kathy Gunter. Great thanks also go out to the drivers: James Dixon, John Moore, Marc Prescott, Andy Dean, J. B. LeNoir and Thomasville Volunteer Fire Department members: Jacque Prescott, Patrick Henry and Charlie Dixon. Thank you, Dena LeNoir, Lisa Newton and the THS Drama Club for providing Jeffrey's Children's Corner, and to the Grove Hill Arts Council for the assistance you provided for this event. A tremendous thank you to Harry Brooks Chevrolet for the use of trucks and trailer, and to WJDB radio and the Thomasville Times for the wonderful publicity. Special appreciation goes to Mayor Sheldon Day, city workers, Chief Billy Hicks and staff and the City of Thomasville for their help in presenting this event. Thank you to the Ala-Tom RC & D Council for the use of their beautiful building, to the Dixie River Band for providing entertainment, and to everyone who participated in the Scarecrow Contest. Thank you, downtown business and neighbors, for your patience and willingness to assist with this project. As with any event of this size, it was not without problems. We do apologize for our mistakes and hope to have them corrected next year. We would also like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Shelton Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Scarbrough for the use of the Champion House. Last, but by no means least, my personal thanks to Karen Dean, John Norwood, Kim Tipton, Margie McKinley, Eric Hill, Bill Davis and Susan Davis. I couldn't have done this without you!
