Nothing says fall like apples and warm, homemade bread!

APPLE HARVEST YEAST BREAD

1 cup unsweetened apple juice

1 egg or equivalent in egg substitute

2 teaspoons I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light Margarine

1 1/2 teaspoons table salt

3 cups bread flour

1 teaspoon apple-pie spice

1/2 cup Splenda Granular

1 (1/4-ounce) package active dry yeast

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

In a bread-baking pan container, combine apple juice, egg, margarine and salt. Add bread flour, apple-pie spice and Splenda. Make an indentation on top of dry ingredients. Pour yeast into indentation. Follow your bread machine instructions for a 1 1/2-pound loaf. Add walnuts when "add ingredient" signal beeps. Continue following your machine's instructions. Remove loaf from machine and place on a wire rack to cool. Cut into 12 slices. Makes one 1 1/2-pound loaf.

Each serving equals: 163 calories, 3g fat, 5g protein, 29g carb., 305mg sodium, 1g fiber; Diabetic Exchanges: 1 1/2 Starch/Carb., 1/2 Fat.
