Car wash to benefit Woods Saturday

There will be a benefit car wash for LaTonya Woods and her family on Saturday, Nov. 4 in front of Dozier Hardware from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.

All proceeds will go toward LaTonya Woods and her family.

Horton - Fendley Reunion set for Nov. 4

The Horton - Fendley Family Reunion is Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Coast Guard Park on Tanner Williams Road in Mobile. All family and friends are invited. Bring your favorite dish. South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad holds fish fry

The South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad will hold a Fish Fry on Nov. 4 from around 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Hwy. 10, mile marker 36, house number 34818. Complete fish plate is $7 with dessert. Local deliveries will be available.

THS National Honor Society holds blood drive

The National Honor Society at Thomasville High School is sponsoring a blood drive on November 6, 2006, in the THS library. The drive will be from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. This is the first blood drive held at THS in several years and the students are hoping for a large response. For more information please contact Robin Maroney, the NHS faculty advisor, at 636-4451.

Lady Tigers Softball Boosters To Meet

The Lady Tigers Softball Boosters will meet Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria. Anyone interested in joining is urged to attend.
