Car wash to benefit Woods Saturday There will be a benefit car wash for LaTonya Woods and her family on Saturday, Nov. 4 in front of Dozier Hardware from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. All proceeds will go toward LaTonya Woods and her family.

South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad holds fish fry The South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad will hold a Fish Fry on Nov. 4 from around 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Hwy. 10, mile marker 36, house number 34818. Complete fish plate is $7 with dessert. Local deliveries will be available.
THS National Honor Society holds blood drive The National Honor Society at Thomasville High School is sponsoring a blood drive on November 6, 2006, in the THS library. The drive will be from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. This is the first blood drive held at THS in several years and the students are hoping for a large response.
