CitiFinancial holds food drive CitiFinancial will be doing a network wide food drive, taking place from Wednesday, Nov. 1 until Saturday, Nov. 18. They will collect food in their office at 130 Alabama Ave., Thomasville. All food donated will go to the Department of Youth Services (DYS). CitiFinancial office hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Pine Hill VFD hold annual BBQ sale The Pine Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their annual BBQ sale on Nov. 3. The sale will start at approximately 7 p.m. at the Pine Hill City Hall. All sales and donations will go to support the fire department. If you have any questions contact one of your local firefighters.
Car wash to benefit LaTonya Woods There will be a benefit car wash for LaTonya Woods and her family on Saturday, Nov. 4 in front of Dozier Hardware from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. All proceeds will go toward LaTonya Woods and her family.

South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad holds fish fry The South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad will hold a Fish Fry on Nov. 4 from around 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Hwy. 10, mile marker 36, house number 34818. Complete fish plate is $7 with dessert. Local deliveries will be available.
THS National Honor Society holds blood drive The National Honor Society at Thomasville High School is sponsoring a blood drive on November 6, 2006, in the THS library. The drive will be from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. This is the first blood drive held at THS in several years and the students are hoping for a large response. For more information please contact Robin Maroney, the NHS faculty advisor, at 636-4451.
Lady Tigers Softball Boosters To Meet The Lady Tigers Softball Boosters will meet Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria. Anyone interested in joining is urged to attend.
