Crowne groundbreaking

The official groundbreaking for the new owners of the Crowne building was held last week in Thomasville. The investors from the Atmore area plan to renovate the interior and exterior of the building, providing space for a mini storage business, coin operated laundry and other business tenants. The building, once called an albatross will become a phenix, said Larry Folker, one of the investors. Pictured are representatives from the City of Thomasville, Southwest Alabama Chamber of Commerce and the Thomasville Development and Planning Office.
