Benefit singing to be at Mount Vernon Baptist

There will be a benefit singing at Mount Vernon Baptist Church on Nov. 11. A soup and chili supper will be at 5 p.m. and the singing will start at 6 p.m.

Donations only. All proceeds to go to the Storage Building Fund for the Youth Committee. The church is located on Hwy. 5 three miles north of Thomasville.

T'ville United Methodist Women to hold Fall Food Festival

The Thomasville United Methodist Women will hold their annual Fall Food Festival on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Thomasville United Methodist Church.

The doors will open promptly at 8:30. There will be cakes, pies, bread, candy, frozen foods, multi-media, Angels Attic and miscellaneous items. There will be a snack bar for $2 you can purchase unlimited cups of coffee and treats.

Fall Fellowship and Fasting Fair planned for Nov. 18

The Fall Fellowship and Fasting Fair will be held at Sunflower AOH Church of God, McFadden Street, in Thomasville on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. Elder S. L. Calhoun, pastor, invites everyone to attend.
