Congratulations to Kaitlin Day for winning the jump off at the Jackson Fair this past Thursday! Congratulations to Mrs. Newton and the Drama Club for winning 8 superior awards and 9 excellent awards at the district competition! The Drama Club received superior in their play "Glass" directed by Ward Bedsole. All students that won superior awards at District will continue on to compete at the state competition. Good luck to all competitors! Seniors! The J. L. Bedsole Scholarship applications are due by Nov. 30. The requirements for this scholarship are a 2.5 GPA and a 21 on the ACT. All college applications are due on Dec. 1. If you plan to take a college day remember that you have to have it approved by Mrs. Williams first before you go. Any National Honor Society members who have not signed up for the Salvation Army Bell Ringing need to do so as soon as possible outside Mrs. Maroney's room. National Honor Society members would like to thank everyone who donated blood to save a life; we appreciate you for supporting us in this cause. Congratulations to the Thomasville Tigers for winning 26-6 against the Clarke County Bulldogs this past Friday! This Friday the Tigers will play Central Tuscaloosa for their first play-off game. Good luck Tigers! Let's all come out and support our football team here in Thomasville at 7 p.m. Seniors and Juniors need to remember to pay their prom fees by Dec. 18. If you have not paid by this date your payment will increase, so remember to pay as soon as possible so that doesn't happen to you.
