Frisco City to forfeit games

The Whippets of Frisco City who were poised to host a first round playoff game after clinching the Class 1A Region 1 title, were forced to forfeit all seven of their region wins after it was discovered they had used an ineligible player this season.

The McIntosh Demons, a team who has not been to the post-season since 1993, move up from the runner-up spot into the title of region champs and become the top seed.

J.U. Blacksher is now the number two seed. Marengo, which would have had the shortest ride of the playoffs in the first round when they were poised to play Sweet Water.

The team that gets to go to the playoffs now is Millry. They become the four seed and will get the chance to take on Sweet Water.
