He'll be the judge of that

"A sandwich is not commonly understood to include burritos, tacos and quesadillas, which are typically made with a single tortilla and stuffed with a choice filling of meat, rice, and beans."

So it is written, so it shall be.

Thank you Judge Jeffery Locke.

This is a quote from Locke's ruling over a lawsuit pitting a sandwich shop against a Mexican restaurant. The sandwich shop was suing to stop the Mexican joint from opening in the same shopping center, claiming it's lease allowed it to be the only sandwich shop in the shopping center.

We need more good common sense judgements like this. If only the Ten Commandments had been more detailed.

In lieu of that, maybe we should just have judges decide everything for us.

They could answer all of life's vexing questions.

Faced with "does this dress make me look fat?' Just turn to The Book of Judge Smith, Ruling 23, verse 18.

Is a tomato really fruit or a vegetable? The Book of Judge Johnson,

Ruling 101, verse 5 has the answer.

Is possession really nine tenths of the law? Just what the heck do you get your parents for Christmas? Oh, the possibilities are endless.

What would our fine judges rule on the BCS? Now there's a questions I wouldn't mind having answered.

But seriously, doesn't it seem like it's just a matter of time? We have lawsuits ruling on what constitutes a sandwich and years earlier, rulings on who could claim they had the best pizza.

I'm shocked that Coke and Pepsi haven't sued each other by now, or Ford and Chevy.
