Mallory was one of the top three winners and will go on to compete against these other students on Nov. 28 at the MSU Riley Center (newly renovated opera house) in Meridian. At this time each of the competitors will once again sing one song, and then the grand prize of $1000 in Peavey products and studio time with backing musicians will be awarded. The first runner up will receive $750 in Peavey products and the second runner up will receive $500 in Peavey products. Peavey Electronics presented this local installment of the nationwide rally that emphasized the importance of keeping the lights on the doors open at after school programs.
