Lewis kills first buck
     Leighton Lewis, age 11, killed her first buck while hunting with her dad Saturday, Nov. 11. The buck weighed 165 lbs. and sported a 9-point rack. She is the daugther of Will and Lori Lewis of Sweet Water.

     Will Bagley, 10 years old, killed his 1st deer on November 11 while hunting with his dad near the Sandflat Community. He is the son of Clint and Lori Bagley.

     Joe Lolley killed this 9-point 190 lb. buck while hunting Saturday, Nov. 18.

     Annie Harrison killed this 10 point buck on Nov. 19 somewhere in West Clarke County. The buck weighed in at 180 lbs.

     Clarke County Bassmaster will start its second year of membership and is eagerly looking for new members! The club had a very successful first year and is hoping to grow and continue with another great year.

THS defense shuts down Cleburne

     The Thomasville Tigers traveled to Heflin this past Friday, November 17 and defeated the Cleburne County Tigers 29-7 in the second round of the AHSAA State Playoffs. This year's win marks the third straight year Thomasville has eliminated the team from Heflin from the playoffs.

TMS boys basketball team off to 5-0 season start

     The Thomasville Middle School Boys Basketball Team upped their season record to 5 -0, winning four games over the past two weeks, In the process they made it a clean sweep over the middle school boys from Sweet Water posting 52-20 win at home this past Thursday, November 16.
