OBITUARIES Msgt. Douglas Allen Bagley Msgt. Douglas Allen "Satch" Bagley, 44, of Orrville died Saturday, November 18, 2006 in Tuskegee. Funeral services were held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy R. O'Bryant officiating. Interment followed at Kelley Cemetery in Thomasville. Mr. Bagley was a retired master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Roxanne Bagley and Donna Bagley, both of Altoona, Pa.; mother, Marilyn Bagley of Orrville; one brother, Bryan (Robyn) Bagley of Orrville; two sisters, Nancy (Joel) Smith of Monroeville and Rhonda Bagley of Orrville. Active pallbearers were Ken Spinks, Mike Larrimore, Henry Bagley, Robert Bagley, Glen Megginson, Roy Megginson III. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Mack Bagley, Bruce Bagley, Glenn Robinson, Taylor Smith, Joel Smith and Gary Smith. Funeral arrangements were directed by O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville. Julian B. Brock Julian B. (Boots) Brock, 85, of Graceville, Fla. died Nov. 17, 2006 at NFCH Nursing Facility in Chipley, Fla. He was born June 29, 1921. He was a lifetime resident and respected businessman in Graceville. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific Theater under the Wildcat Division. Survivors include his wife, Laura Gibbs Brock, Graceville, Fla.; two sons, Gene (Annice) Brock, Graceville, Jimmy (Colleen) Brock, Panama City, Fla.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The service was Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Graceville with Dr. Jerry Oswalt officiating. Burial was in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Graceville. Presidee Carstarphen, Jr. Presidee "Press" Carstarphen, Jr., 53, of Lower Peachtree died November 21, 2006 in Thomasville. Funeral services were held Nov. 25 at 12 noon at All Saints Holiness Church with Rev. Clevon Dukes. Interment followed at Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Zion Cemetery. Mr. Carstarphen was a Supervisor at Thomasville Adjustment Center. Survivors include his wife, Betty Anderson Carstarphen of Lower Peachtree; four sons, Rodney (Rhonda) Carstarphen, Romoane (Tiffany) Carstarphen, Keith (Shawanda) Carstarphen and Stevon (Tonjanika) Carstarphen; one daughter, Jennifer (Tyo) Aqbe'Davies; one brother, Jimmy Louis Carstarphen; six sisters, Annie (Rev. Herman) Carlton, Mary (Woodrow) Lovett, Barbara Carstarphen, Gladys Hendricks, Patricia (Rev. Arthur) Patterson and Drucilla (Marcus) Newton; and 18 grandchildren. Pallbearers were his cousins. Sarah Sunday Flowers Sarah Sunday Flowers, 70, of Linden died Friday, November 24, 2006 at Caring Angels Hospice in Gilbertown. Funeral services were held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ed Pickle officiating. Interment followed at Linden Memorial Park in Linden. Mrs. Flowers was retired from Marengo Nursing Home where she worked as a nurse's aide. Survivors include one daughter, Clara Edwards of Demopolis; three sons, James H. Flowers and Rickey Flowers, both of Gilbertown and J. C. Flowers of Linden; one brother, Thomas Crosby of Butler; one sister, Mary Lee Flowers of Butler; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Jerry Sikes, Wayne Flowers, Mike Carlisle, Jody Crosby, Jason Crosby and Harry Crosby. Funeral arrangements were directed by O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden. James Lamar Glazier James Lamar Glazier, 88, of Dixons Mills died Monday, November 20, 2006 at Troy Health & Rehab Center in Troy. Graveside services were held at Shiloh Cemetery on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lister Hill officiating. Mr. Glazier was a retired electrician and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Bessie Jones Glazier of Dixons Mills; two sons, Richard (Debbie) Glazier of Lanett, Ronald (Tina) Glazier of Senoria, Ga.; three step-sons, Alton (Regina) Westbrook of Palmyra, Va., Woodie (J.B.) Westbrook of Brundidge and Leon (Jean) Westbrook of Monroeville; one brother, Jesse Glazier of Senoria; one sister, Mary Coates of Cantonment, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Reba Snow Lolley Reba Snow Lolley, 77, of Linden died Friday, November 24, 2006 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services were held at Linden Baptist Church on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Billy Harris and Rev. Jerry Gunnells officiating. Interment followed at Linden Memorial Park in Linden. Mrs. Lolley was retired from the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service where she worked as secretary for 20 years. She was a member of Linden Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School secretary. Survivors include her husband, Ernest A. Lolley of Linden; two sons, Robert Keith Lolley of Marietta, Ga. and Charles Richard "Rick" (Jenise) Lolley of Van Buren, Ark.; one sister, Dorothy Snow of Jasper; one brother, Cecil (Mary Francis) Lolley of Columbia; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers were Danny Baker, James Creel, Robert Breckenridge, Joe Falls, John Mansfield and Dennis Mason. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Berean Sunday School Class, William Brasell, Brady Creel, Jack Crocker, Ernest "Buddy" Lawrence, Charles Lambrecht, the CSICU nurses of DCH Regional Medical Center. Tom Bettis Lyles Tom Bettis Lyles, 78, of Thomasville died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile. Graveside services were held at Bashi United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. with Dan Norris and Rev. Raymond Williams officiating. Mr. Lyles was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Sergeant and from James River Paper Mill. He was a member of Bashi United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Sue Lyles; and granddaughter, Megan Smith. Survivors include four daughters, Tommy Sue (Gary) Smith of Fort Morgan, Libbi (Joe) Miles of Bashi, Terry (Dan) Norris of Grove Hill and Becky (Key) Ivy of Madison, Miss.; two sons, Tom Bettis Lyles II and Mark (Darla) Lyles, both of Bashi; one sister, Frances Lyles (Henry) Harper of Montgomery; one brother, Charles (Betty) Lyles of Marietta, Ga.; and seven grandchildren.
