Thanksgiving feast is over, but still thankful
By JoAnn Smyly Thomasville Nursing Home News

What am I thankful for this
year?
  What blessings come to
mind?
  My dear friends and relations,
  So loving and so kind.

The Thanksgiving feast is over but we still have so much to be thankful for. Let us not forget the celebration that is coming up and the real reason for the season.

The residents are so looking for Christmas, they love children and we have a lot of them this time of year. It would be nice to have them all through the year. A lot of the residents enjoyed going out with family and friends for Thanksgiving Day. We are still planning for Christmas if you plan to visit please contact me so we can make plans, our calendar is filling up, but we want turn anyone down, we will work you in.

The residents enjoyed a week of fun and games and cooking and making turkey cookies, and then we ate them.

We would like to thank the ladies in the kitchen for the cookies. Well time is short this week.

I still have to decorate this place and put up the trees, work on the float and make sure the lights are working outside. See you Saturday at the parade.
