Spiritual Reflections
God will never leave you
Pat Ozment, Jr.
We have just two and a half weeks left

here, at this place where they train missionaries. We still have questions about what our lives will be like for the next three years in Ghana. Not that it will change anything, we are going, God willing.

Next week we will experience something called, "Security Contingency Training." That is when they will train us about what to do if everything goes wrong in the country where we are, and we have to get out in a hurry. That will be good to know, but it won't change anything. We are going, God willing.

Yesterday we went to Washington D.C. as a group, all 193 of us. There were five busloads, but we were not sight seeing. We were soul seeking. We were all looking for people from other cultures, whether that be South America, Africa, Europe or Asia, that we could tell about Jesus, and guess what, we found them. I got to witness to a young lady on the subway.

Later, Peggy and I were walking up 18th Avenue and there were two young men standing on the sidewalk. One of them had on a shirt that had "Ghana" printed on it. Peggy saw them first, and before I even knew what was going on, she was talking to them. They had to go, because people were calling to them, but she told them why we were going to their home, and they pointed out to us the "Ghana Café," just up the street.

We ate lunch there and got to share with two ladies from Ghana. The café was not very appealing to the eye, and the food was, shall we say, "different," but while we ate goat and plantains, it was as if God was saying, "this is the answer to your question"

Peggy and I have been memorizing scripture, and here's one all of us can claim, wherever we are. Hebrews 13:5 b says, "I will never leave you or forsake you." That's a good answer to all our questions.

See you in church.
