SAIA to hold forum in Jackson The Southwest Alabama Improvement Association will hold a Community Health Care Council Information Forum on the 2007 Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit and Medication Therapy Management Services (MTMS) Medicare is a federal health insurance program for individuals 65 years of age, under age 65 with certain disabilities and any age with end-stage renal (kidney) disease (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia). The meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. at Jackson Steak House in Jackson. The speakers for the meeting will be W. Frank Porter, License Insurance Broker AFLAC, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana Health Plan and Dr. O.L Hubert, P.D., MHS, FACA, DE Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Care Provider.
