Betty V. Huckabee

Betty V. Huckabee, 82, of Linden died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis. Graveside services were held at Old Springhill Cemetery in Gallion on Monday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. with Dale Barger officiating.

Ms. Huckabee was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sisters in law, Marie Brackin of Columbus, Miss and Juanita Perez of Kilgore, Texas; one niece, Brenda Cannon of Shiloh; and friend, Jean Marlowe of Linden.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden.

Iola Deas Robinson

Iola Deas Robinson, 92, of Thomasville died Saturday, December 9, 2006 in Mobile. Graveside services were held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville on Monday, Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. with Dr. James Best officiating.

Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn (Kathy) Robinson of Camden and Jerry (Maxine) Robinson of Thomasville; two daughters, Faye Graham of Jackson and Linda (Pat) Vice of Linden; one brother, Gilmer (Lucille) Deas of Coffeeville; 11 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Mitch Robinson, Bob Graham, Hutch Thompson, Frank Robinson, Skip Robinson and Bart Pettis.

Funeral arrangements were directed by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville.
