The Christmas holidays are finally here and the first semester at Thomasville high School is drawing to an end. Students will be taking first and third block exams on Monday, December 18, and second and fourth block exams on Tuesday, December 19. Students who are exempt from taking their final exams will be out of school this Friday, December 15.

Congratulations to the Tiger football team, cheerleaders, and band on a great season. We had a great record and we finally made it to the state championship game for the first time since 1988. We know you worked hard and we are all so proud of you.

Any high school girl or senior boy who is interested in being a participant in the beauty portion of the THS 2007 Beauty Review needs to sign up with Mrs. Jill Barlow. The cost to participate is $25 and tickets are $6. Also, any student who wants to participate in the talent portion of the beauty review needs to sign up outside Mrs. Newton’s room. Auditions will be announced at a later date.

Any student who has not paid prom fees needs to do so immediately. As you all know the cost has already gone up to $100 and the price is still increasing.
