Coston back home, recovering Sgt. Linzey Coston returned back home last week after about 10 hours of medical observation at a Mobile hospital after his Thomasville Police cruiser wrecked Dec. 12. Police Chief Billy Hicks said Coston was still sore and stiff from his injuries, including a broken rib, but Hicks said Coston could come back on duty sometime next week. Hicks confirmed that Coston was responding to a call that eventually captured an escapee from the LIFE Tech center when the accident happened.
Coston is a 17-year veteran of the Thomasville Police Department.
