Southwest Alabama Medical Center sponsors blood drive Southwest Alabama Medical Center will sponsor a Thomasville Community Blood Drive today, Jan. 11 from 12 noon until 6 p.m. in the Bloodmobile at SAMC. There will be t-shirts and door prizes, including a Sam's/Wal-Mart gift card, given away. For more information contact Lisa Callahan in the lab. Diamond Club to meet The Thomasville Diamond Club will meet Monday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria. Magnolia Civic Club plans BBQ The Magnolia Civic Club will sell BBQ by the pound at the Magnolia Community Center on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. until. The meat will be freshly cooked by Paul Thompson in the well-known Leroy Thompson tradition. The cost of the BBQ is $5 per lb. Call in advance and your order will be bagged and tagged and ready for you to pick up. Club members and volunteers come early; friends stop by anytime. Beauty Review 2007 is Feb. 16 & 17 Beauty Review 2007 is Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16 & 17. Any students interested in participating should register with Mrs. Barlow in room 211 before school 7 a.m. until 7:20 a.m. or after school from 3 until 3:30 p.m. When you register you may purchase four tickets. Registration and ticket sales will end Jan. 18. Registration is $25 and tickets are $8 each.
