Residents enjoy busy holiday When I arise at early morning, Just before the day begins, I take the time to talk to Jesus, As a friend would talk with friends. Celebrating birthdays this month are: Fannie Lambert, 7th; Ivey McClure, 7th; Ella Thomas, 10th; Mildred Huggins, 16th; Azalea Bennett, 16th; Mildred Dean, 19th; Aleice Christpen, 29th; Bertha Slaughter, 28th; David Johns, 29th; Bly Slade, 31st. The residents would like to thank everyone who gave them presents, food and entertainment during the holidays. It is to many to name and I would like to leave anyone out, thank you very much. The residents ended the year with a noon year party, everyone had a great time and enjoyed blowing on their horns going up and down the halls, they were laughing all the way. Our many thanks goes to Kathy Roberts and B.J. Detrick of Finding Balance Day Spa they donate an hours a week to give our residents hand massage. Thank you, they love it. Ivy McClure celebrated his birthday with family and friends around him Sunday. The residents enjoyed Bro. Best Monday morning and Bob Dean that afternoon.
Oh! No! Elvis is in the building. What a great surprise! Elvis stopped in to visit with the residents and this is also his birthday, so the residents gave him a party. What fun!
