GHMH joins in Scale Back

Grove Hill Memorial Hospital joined the 2004 American Idol, Ruben Studdard, in asking Alabamians to lose 10 million pounds over the next eight weeks.

In our area people can contact Cindy Greene, RN at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital at 251-275-3191 ext. 201. Leave a message if sent to the voice mail and you will be reached and given information about the campaign and sign up.

Grove Hill Memorial Hospital will host the area kickoff on Jan. 18 at 12 p.m. in front of the physical therapy and cardiopulmonary department of the hospital. Team members will be given balloons to be released as a symbol of the release of any obstacles to healthier lifestyle and improved quality of life. The public should look for the red notes attached to the balloons. Returned notes will be placed in a drawing for a free 3-month membership to HealthActions in Jackson.
