Springer Theater to open Jan. 26

Springer Theater in Demopolis will open the Two Rivers Arts Council 2007 season with Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein on January 26 at 7:00 at the Old School on Main. Some of the beloved songs in the program include "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning!," "Climb Every Mountain," "Younger Than Springtime," "There Is Nothing Like a Dame," and "I Enjoy Being a Girl." A talented cast of five will stage "in a fresh and vibrant new way" forty-six melodies from The Sound of Music, The King and I, Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, and State Fair.

Springer Theater on Tour is part of the Springer Opera House, the State Theater of Georgia. They take pride in providing "Quality-Affordable- No-Hassle Theatrical presentations." For a bit of Broadway in Demopolis, come share an enchanted evening with the Two Rivers Arts Council and Springer Theater!

Tickets will be $10 at the door and tickets will be mailed to Arts Council members.
