Bassett Creek holds singing

Bassett Creek Baptist Church will be hosting their first singing of the New Year on Friday, January 26 at 7PM. Special guests will be the "Tribute Quartet" of Nashville, Tennessee. Formerly known as the "Monument Quartet", the Tribute Quartet has developed a national reputation for being one of the finest Southern Gospel groups on the road today.

There will be no admission charged and a love offering will be received. Bassett Creek Baptist Church is located off Highway 43 , 3 miles north of Grove Hill. For directions or more information call the church at (251) 275 8024.

Building Fund Yard Sale to

be held

There will be a Building Fund Yard Sale on Feb. 2 & 3 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Church of God Fellowship Hall, 708 Brown St. Inside rain or shine.

Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church

holds program

The program "Helping Those in Need" will be held at Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church, located on Bashi Road, on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 2:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Hazel Kirksey and the guest church will be Cooper Lewis C.M.E. Church of Chatom. Everyone is invited.

Family and Friends Day to be

Feb. 11

Everyone is invited to Family and Friends Day at Sunflower AOH Church of God, McFadden Street in Thomasville, on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Elder Arthur Mitchell, pastor of Bellemy AOH Church of God.

UA AFRO Choir to be in

T'ville

The University of Alabama AFRO American Gospel Choir will be in concert at New Greater First Baptist Church, 181 Nicol Ave. Southeast, in Thomasville on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. Rev. Carlton L. Hogue is pastor.

Sunflower AOH Church of God to hold Black History

Program

Everyone is cordially invited to attend a Black History Program at Sunflower AOH Church of God, McFadden Street, in Thomasville on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 2:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Bishop Herbert Nobles from the House of Prayer in Gosport.
