Empathy donation
      Lifeline Paramedics and Southwest Alabama Medical Center teamed up to donate the money for an empathy vest for Thomasville High School. The vest simulates the weight of pregnancy for the wearer. The vest will be used in the school's parenting and family science classes.

      Thomasville held its annual Scholar's Bowl meet in the T.M.S. library on Tuesday, January 23. Leroy Middle School and Jackson Middle School were invited to the meet, but only Leroy came. Miss Alabama Teen Pageant is now taking applications
      The 2007 Miss Alabama Teen America Scholarship Pageant will be held in Huntsville on March 24. The program is currently accepting applications for contestants for the state pageant. Contestants must be between 14 - 18 years old by the national pageant in July 2007.
