Pineview plans Lay Renewal Weekend A team of Christians from other churches will be visiting Pineview Baptist Church March 2-4. These small group leaders will be leading the church in praise songs and testimonies about where they are on their spiritual journey. These visitors are not Super Christians, just ones that are aware of their journey and are willing to testify about what the Lord is doing in their lives. March 2-4 is sure to be a weekend of family building among the church members. The main purpose of the weekend is to renew our relationship with the Lord, remembering who we are and whose we are. This will help us understand where we are along our own Christian journey. Renewal involves discipline in prayer and Bible study, reading renewal-oriented books, learning to understand and love others, discovering the fellowship of church life, understanding our personal mission and ministry, learning to share our faith with unbelievers and learning the discipline of prayer. Of particular emphasis in this renewal process is a lifestyle of evangelism and a lifestyle of ministry.
