The University of Alabama AFRO American Gospel Choir will be in concert at New Greater First Baptist Church, 181 Nicol Ave. Southest, in Thomasville on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. Rev. Carlton L. Hogue is pastor.

Black History Program

Ladies Day to be held at

Ladies Day at Christian Friendship Baptist Church, located on Tallahatta Springs Road, will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. and there will be a morning of celebration, sharing praise and worship and learning followed by a fellowship lunch. The Annual Deacon & Deaconess' Day will be on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. at New Hope No. 1 Baptist Church in Thomasville. All churches are invited to attend. Dinner will be served. Pastor James G. Curry will be the guest speaker.

Pineview plans Lay Renewal

Weekend, March 2-4

A team of Christians from other churches will be visiting Pineview Baptist Church March 2-4. These small group leaders will be leading the church in praise songs and testimonies about where they are on their spiritual journey. Of particular emphasis in this renewal process is a lifestyle of evangelism and a lifestyle of ministry.
