F.S. Ervin Elementary School successfully completed its Quality Assurance Review for Accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Dr. Haywood Mayton, professor at the University of West Alabama will recommend F.S. Ervin to be placed on the state list of accredited schools.
The SACS process includes a self-study of the school to insure that F.S. Ervin School was in compliance with the state standards.
In addition to the self-study, interviews were held with the principal, teachers, parents, students, and community members.
