CHURCH CALENDAR Okalona MPC to host Wesley College Drama Team Okalona Methodist Protestant Church, located north of Grove Hill, will host The Wesley College Drama Team from Florence, Miss. on Friday, Feb. 9 beginning at 7 p.m. Rev. Ron Giles is pastor. Sunflower AOH Church of God to hold Black History Program Everyone is cordially invited to attend a Black History Program at Sunflower AOH Church of God, McFadden Stree, in Thomasville on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Bishop Herbert Nobles from the House of Prayer in Gosport. Ash Wednesday service at St. Peter's St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 200 Hospital Dr., Jackson, AL, will host a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning, Feb. 18, at 9:30 a.m. Following the breakfast, the regular service and sermon will begin at 11 a.m. An Ash Wednesday service, including the imposition of ashes, will be held a noon at the church on Feb. 21. The Rev. Dr. Robert Nichols III, Priest-in-charge invites anyone who is interested to attend and participate in these services. Ladies Day to be held at CFBC Ladies Day at Christian Friendship Baptist Church, located on Tallahatta Springs Road, will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. and there will be a morning of celebration, sharing praise and worship and learning followed by a fellowship lunch. Williams Temple CME to hold special program Williams Temple CME Church invites everyone to help them celebrate the their Annual Steward, Stewardess & Trustee Day Program on Feb. 25 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Pineview plans Lay Renewal Weekend, March 2-4 A team of Christians from other churches will be visiting Pineview Baptist Church March 2-4. These small group leaders will be leading the church in praise songs and testimonies about where they are on their spiritual journey. March 2-4 is sure to be a weekend of family building among the church members. Of particular emphasis in this renewal process is a lifestyle of evangelism and a lifestyle of ministry. Miles Chapel Youth Day program A Youth Day program will be held at Miles Chapel CME Church March 4, at 2 p.m. The theme will be "No time for strangers." Guest speaker will be Curtis Treadwell. Miles Chapel is located on Bashi Road in Thomasville. Sunflower AOH COG to hold singing Sunflower AOH Church of God will host The Gospel Keys and The Keyetts from Molina, Fla.
