Patterson - Douglas plan March wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Timothy Tindol of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Mr. and Mrs. George Patterson of Mooreville, Mississippi are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Georgianne Elyse Patterson, to Mr. James Dennis Nettles Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert F. Douglas, III of Hoover.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fennell of Mantachie, Mississippi and Mrs. Edith Lorene Patterson and the late Mr. Thomas Patterson of Saltillo, Mississippi. Miss Patterson is a 1997 graduate of Tuscaloosa Christian School and a 2002 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management. She is employed as an HR Generalist at CB Richard Ellis.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Rose Mary S. Nettles and the late Dr. James Dennis Nettles of Arlington, and Mrs. Sarah P. Douglas and the late Dr. Gilbert F. Douglas, Jr. of Hoover. Mr. Douglas is a 1999 graduate of Heritage Academy and a 2003 graduate of Samford University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). He served a tour of duty in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps and is currently completing his Master of Science degree in Environmental Management at Samford University. He is employed as a GIS Specialist at the Nature Conservancy.

The couple will exchange vows on March 10, 2007 at Valley Christian Church in Birmingham.
