Four teachers become national board certified

Ellen Gates, Donna McManus, Julie Crocker and Patricia Pope have become national board certified teachers.

Four Thomasville City School teachers have become national board certified in their fields.

Julie Crocker and Ellen Gates from Thomasville Elementary received their certification in Generalist/Early Childhood Education.

Donna McManus of TES received her certification in Reading-Language Arts/Early and Middle Childhood.

Patricia Pope of TMS received her certification in Mathematics/Early Adolescence.

They join Jack Hankins who received his certification in Science/Adolescence and Young Adulthood in 2004.

National Board certification is the highest credential in the teaching profession.
