TMS wins three-team tourney in Daphne

      The Thomasville Middle School Tiger baseball team traveled to Daphne this past Saturday, March 10 and defeated both their opponents to win the three team round robin tourney hosted by Bayside Middle School. During the day the Thomasville squad defeated Mobile Christian 13-4 and host Bayside 13-1.

      Golf teams from Washington County, Thomasville, Citronelle and Mobile Christian high schools competed in a match in Chatom, Monday. The WCHS team won the event, with Thomasville taking second place.

      On Tuesday, March 6, Wilcox Central High School head boy's basketball coach Mark Dukes received the Best Sportsmanship Award given by the Central Alabama Officials Association. The ceremony was held at the Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, during the organization's annual banquet.
