City recognizes Nobles
Ken Hamilton, director of recreation for the City of Thomasville presented the family of Johnny Nobles with a plaque in recognition of his service to the city's youth basketball programs for the past three years. Nobles was shot and killed in Sweet Water two weeks ago. He was also the minister of Jesus' New Covenant Church in Dixons Mills. "He taught me a lot during his time here," Hamilton said. "I know he loved the children, and they loved him."
