Man killed in accident

A south Texas man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 69 south of Coffeeville early Sunday morning.

Jesus Maria Perez of Mission, Texas was killed when his truck hit the end of the Satilpa Creek bridge and flipped. Perez was driving south on Highway 69. The wreck was estimated to have happened about 4 a.m.

Coffeeville police and firefighters along with Alabama State Troopers responded to the accident.

Perez was reportedly staying in Jackson and working in the area.
