Wood - Gates plan May wedding

Jennifer Brooke Wood and Jason Jerome Gates

Mr. and Mrs. Glen T. Wood of Grove Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Brooke Wood to Jason Jerome Gates, son Mr. and Mrs. Floyd J. Gates of Thomasville and Mr. and Mrs. John Hudson of Pensacola, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie F. Wiggins of Grove Hill and Mrs. Mary Wood of Wetumpka and the late James B. Wood. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hruska of Trenton, N.J., and Mr. and Mrs. William F. Gates of Thomasville.

Miss Wood is a 2000 graduate of Clarke Preparatory School. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree from Auburn University. She is employed by the Clarke County Board of Education.

Mr. Gates is a 1991 graduate of Thomasville High School. He is employed by Gates Construction of Thomasville.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Tompkins Baptist Church in Grove Hill. All family and friends are invited to attend.
